Wings of Hope Family Crisis Services is excited to have joined "T" Collier, Editor of Thunder Roads Magazine OK/AR for a ride of empowerment and awareness June 22-25, 2016!
Tour de Hope - Ride and Empowerment Fest promoted awareness and provided support for survivors of Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence. The 700 mile all-women motorcycle ride around Oklahoma June 22-24 ended with the Empowerment Fest open to the community June 25 in Stillwater, OK! The Empowerment Fest taught guests ways to empower themselves through sessions over self-care techniques, R.A.D. self-defense, safe communication skills, firearm safety, motorcycle safety and more! We are so thankful to those who helped us organize this event for a chance to build a stronger community. Join us next year for the chance to empower yourself!
Special thanks to our sponsors:

Our 2016 Women With Wings Gala was a night to remember! Members of the Stillwater community joined us for a night of giving at the ConocoPhillips OSU Alumni Center on April 7, 2016. The event was emceed by Mike Staubus, Art Director of Stan Clark Companies, and the Honorary Chairmen of the gala were Wes & Lou Watkins. Guests enjoyed live and silent auctions, delectable dinner catered by Meditations, live music courtesy of Richelle Sigrist and giving in support of Wings of Hope Family Crisis Services. We are so grateful for all the artists who donated their time and talents toward painted butterfly statues whose proceeds benefited Wings of Hope.
Thank you to all who attended, supported and donated to the 2016 Women With Wings Gala! All proceeds from the event benefit Wings of Hope Family Crisis Services.
As the new year grows closer, so does our appreciation for generous community members. Oklahomans from Payne, Pawnee, Lincoln, Logan and Noble counties remind us what the giving season is all about – community and compassion. We began our “25 for 25 Campaign” on November 16, 2015 in hopes of raising $25,000 for at least 25 individuals and families in need of safe shelter, counseling, education and other services provided at the Wings of Hope agency. Our end-of-year fundraising goal is in sight, and we can’t say thank you enough to everyone who supported and participated in our 25 for 25 events.
There’s no better way to raise domestic violence awareness and prevention efforts than with style. The final event of our “25 for 25 Campaign” was held December 1, 2015 in the wine cellar of Brooklyn’s Restaurant. What a treat it was to kick off the giving season with our generous hometown organizations and communities! An estimated 75 individuals placed bids on brands like Coach, Louis Vuitton and Dolce and Gabbana to support the victims and survivors that Wings of Hope serves. We were thrilled to offer a live auction of gently used purses, designer purses carried by notable women of Oklahoma, a silent auction of new purses donated by local boutiques, and a drawing for a new Consuela tote valued $350. The overflow of charitable spirits was more than we could have hoped for! A special thank you to Richelle Sigrist, Brooklyn’s Restaurant, Ball Auction Services, Tiger Lily Boutique, Epoch Boutique and the many donors who made this event a success. We truly appreciate your generosity! Please put November 29, 2016 on your calendar for the second annual Purses with Purpose.
Did you know ninety three (.93 ) cents of every donated dollar will be applied toward safe shelter, counseling services, education and impact programs provided at our agency? We were thrilled to interact with several Friend Raiser attendees and share easy ways to make an impact close to home. Thank you to the families who came out to meet our staff, tour our facility and learn more about volunteering, giving or serving on our Board of Directors. Wings of Hope Family Crisis Services depends on the assistance of wonderful community members and teams of volunteers who help us with many projects. If you are interested in making a difference through volunteer work please contact our volunteer coordinator at 405-372-9922 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Color us grateful! Approximately 30 individuals joined us on November 17, 2015 for a relaxing and impactful evening at Brooklyn’s Restaurant. We were thrilled to launch our first wine and palette and host nearly a full house! Holly McHughes lead our event with a gorgeous butterfly painting demonstration and revealed the inner artist in many. The Wings of Hope Family Crisis Services board and community members who joined us proved empowerment is beautiful in all shades and designs. Painting for a cause brought smiles to many faces and directly benefited victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking. Together, we can bring an end to the cycle of domestic violence.
